Colorado Conservation Voters Action Fund is a non-partisan political action committee dedicated to electing conservation candidates of both major parties to public office in Colorado. Our goal is to help elect a conservation majority to the Colorado State Legislature and Governor’s office.
Summary: Tuesday, Nov 7 was a very big day for the environment in Colorado.
CCV endorsed in a total of 51 legislative races. The CCV endorsed candidates have won in 48 of those races for win rate of 94%. We won all five of our top priority races including a pro-environment governor! We expanded our pro-environment majority in the state legislature from 51% to 60%. The Senate and the House leadership in both houses is also strongly pro-conservation.
Tier One races were the highest priority. In these races we gave the candidates the maximum contribution allowed by law and conducted independent expenditure campaigns on behalf of our endorsed candidates. CCV won 5 of 5 of its top tier races.
